It’s raining and that might not seem like much of a statement but where I live it’s the first full day of rain we’ve had in…well, I can’t remember when. Rain makes me want to write and maybe that’s because I’m British.
After I finish writing this post I’m settling down to a full afternoon of writing. This time it will be non-fiction and the beginning chapters of a cookbook I’m co-authoring. So as well as getting some writing done I’ll be testing one of the recipes. It’s mushroom risotto and the best thing is I don’t have to think about what’s for dinner tonight.
And I finally figured out how to save the cover of my e-book version of How To Write A Romance so I can post it and here it is. It’s waiting to be uploaded to all the stores and as soon as it’s done I’ll give you a link. I’ll also be giving away a copy.
I don’t have to tell you that the publishing world is changing at a faster pace than ever before. Did you hear that Newsweek is going all digital? I also saw that two of the UK newspapers are thinking of going that route too. Freelancers take note the future is digital so brush up on your writing for the Internet skills.
Okay, a shorter post this Friday so I can go do some writing.
Have a good weekend and happy writing to you.
