Friday Ramblings From An Author

I can’t believe that October is almost over. The two workshops I’ve been teaching this month are winding down which is always bittersweet for me. I have some of the nicest people take my classes and it’s sometimes hard to say goodbye to them.

This week I’ve been switching between writing and testing recipes for the cookbook I’m co-authoring. The best thing is I haven’t thought about what’s for dinner or lunch. Today’s lunch was tagine and tonight dessert is vanilla bean gelato.

A few days ago I got the cover for my next release Confession of Love. It’s my first story for Evernight’s Romance On The Go Line, here’s the cover and I have to say I love it. Release date is November 12th.

I also gave my first interview for my upcoming How To Write A Romance Novel. Compass Book is publishing the paperback and I’m self-publishing the electronic version. I’ll let you know when it’s on sale and I’ll be giving away a copy here.

If you want to check out the interview and find out more about me here’s a link to the article-

It’s Halloween on Wednesday and a great time to think about paranormal stories, even horror ones. TV is great this time of year because they show lots of scary movies that you don’t see year round. And one show I’m now hooked on is The Walking Dead. I hadn’t watched it on cable but then checked out the pilot episode on Netflix, watched more, and became a fan. I’m recording the new season and gradually getting caught up with the episodes. I read it’s the most watched TV show this season and I can see why.  (And interesting to learn that the lead character is a fellow Brit).

Have a good weekend, a fun Halloween, and happy writing.
