I guess I spoke too soon when I mentioned the arrival of spring in last Friday’s ramblings. On Monday and Tuesday about another foot of snow got added to the already couple of feet we’ve had this winter. Each time I’m out there shoveling (and besides humming the theme tune to Hawaii Five O), I think about all the hours I’m wasting when I could be writing. At least it’s exercise.
This last week I did get to see a draft of the Sins of the Seven. It’s an anthology based on the Seven Deadly Sins and published by Wicked East Press. My story Kill Me Once is being published it in under the sin of Wrath. It’s a time travel mystery and was lots of fun to write.
A couple more things were checked off my to do list. I finished line edits for Death Likes Me (Muse It Up Publishing). I think it’s set to be published in July but I’m still waiting for an exact release date. I can’t wait to see the cover for that one. Now I have to start thinking about writing a sequel for it.
And I finally submitted my romantic suspense story, and happy to say just this morning Evernight offered me a contract for it. I haven’t even told Sue, my critique partner, yet. So Sue if you’re reading this, thank you for helping me polish it.
The free seminar at Coffeetime Romance is underway so be sure to check that out. Here’s a link if you’re interested-
And I hope to have some new book covers to share with you soon.
Have a good weekend and happy writing.
