It’s a holiday weekend for those in the US and UK so I decided to get an early start and had what I called a take it easier Friday. I think I deserved some time off because I got two projects finished this week. I loaded the fourth book in the Writing Genre Fiction Series onto Amazon. Plus, I finished my WIP and e-mailed it to my publisher.
Today has been a perfect cloudless day which seems really fitting because it’s my late father’s birthday. (I know if he was still alive he would have gone and played golf all day). I started the day by taking a trip to the local DIY store to buy herbs and veggie plants ready to plant over the weekend. I soon discovered that was a huge mistake because it seemed everyone else had taken the day off too.
This afternoon I sat outside and began to make my list of books that I’ll read (or at least try to) this summer. I’ll be sharing it with you next week. So many to choose from and I’m ashamed to say I still have a few from last year’s list that I didn’t get to. This year I’ve included non-fiction titles for some variety.
My next release is June 2nd and my next WIP will be three projects. First one, the next story in my Kalispell Shifter series. Two, revamping a western romance that was published about four years ago but I now have the rights back so I’ll be self-publishing it once it’s finished. And I also thought of an idea for another short historical story that I’ll possibly self-pub too. I might get started on them over this long weekend depending on the weather and if I can get outside to do some gardening or not.
Here’s the link to my new book on Amazon and the second link will take you to the Writing Ideas and Prompt title that’s free on Amazon today (Friday).
Have a fun week and happy writing.
