This week it’s been freezing cold and the weather forecast says a polar vortex is heading our way. They’ve promised it won’t be as bad as the one that hit us two years ago but it still looks like it’s going to be nasty cold. A great time to find a comfy spot and a good book.
I’m still putting together my list of things I want to achieve next year. One thing on the list is to post more things on This Writer’s Life and try to make this a writing community where both established and beginning writers can help one another. So with that in mind, is there something you’d specially like to see? Would you like motivational posts, question and answer type ones, news about writing markets? Don’t be shy, please let me know what you’d like to read about, and if anyone would like to be a guest blogger I’d be happy to share this platform with you.
And before I forget, starting on Monday and running through Dec 23rd, on both my Susan Palmquist and Vanessa Devereaux sites I’ll have my 12 Days of Christmas giveaway. Each day I’ll be giving away either an e-book, coupon for a free class and a grand finale prize that I’m keeping as a surprise. So come check it out and spread the word.
I’ll also be releasing my final book of the year next week and right now I’m working on three new stories…always find I work on that many when it turns cold and not sure why.
Have a great week, stay warm (if it’s cold where you’re at), and happy writing to all.
