Friday Ramblings From An Author-Long Weekend

Less than a month ago it was too cold to write outside. Today it’s too hot. Am I too picky or what? This weekend, yes a long one, is predicted to be a scorcher with temps close to 100. Sounds like a good time to grab a good book and a very cold drink.
Speaking of reading books…some of you know I’m a book reviewer. I should say was because this week I hung up my reviewer’s hat. I’ve been doing it for close to ten years and with all the projects I have going on, I had to give up something and reviewing was it. I’ve promised the site who I reviewed for that one day I’ll be back.
This week I worked on all my projects. Yes, I know it’s a bad thing not to stay focused on one and get it finished but sometimes that’s the only way I can work. I even got ideas for new books (that’s both a good and bad thing).
What about you? Do you like to work on multiple projects at the same time? I’d love to hear what’s your style.
Next month a new workshop begins which will focus on writing erotic romances so if you or someone you know is thinking about penning one, I’ll be teaching it for the Outreach Chapter of the Romance Writers of America where you’ll find all the details for signing up.
First long weekend of the year with Monday being a holiday so next week there won’t be a Monday Motivation post.
Have a good week, a good holiday weekend, and happy writing to all.
