Friday Ramblings From An Author-Summer Reading Ahead

Another Friday, another Ramblings…

Thank you to this week’s guest blogger. I’ll be posting another call for guest bloggers for fall very soon so if you’re interested, stay tuned.

I’m happy to say I had a productive week-

I got my next back title formatted now it’s onto revamping it. It’s a book I wrote about nine years ago, so yes, it needs overhauling.

I also recorded and uploaded two more classes to Skillshare, both of which are part of my ongoing Blueprint Courses.

This first one is about finding and interviewing experts for articles and part of my Freelance Writing Blueprint courses, here’s the link-

This next one is part of my Novel Writing Blueprint Course and is all about pacing in your story. Here’s the link for that one-

The only thing I didn’t get done was (and yes, I know it’s part of the summer writing challenge), my mystery novel.  I always feel like I have to get other projects out of the way before I can focus on a new one. Anyone else share that experience? Maybe it’s why we shouldn’t have too many going at once. However, oftentimes that’s what motivates me to do more.

It’s almost summer and that means summer reading time. One of my favorite pastimes as a child was sitting outside…sometimes until it got dark, reading. I’ve got lots of books on my Kindle and iPad so hopefully I’ll make my way through some of them before fall rolls around.

How about you? Anything you’re excited to start reading this summer?

Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
