Friday Ramblings From An Author-A Busy Break

Weatherwise, not a great start to October. First two adjectives which come to mind, overcast and dreary which usually doesn’t bother me but for some reason, I’m ready to see the sun again. (I also have lots of outside chores to do too!)

I’ve had four days off from teaching but I’ve kept busy with planning out upcoming classes, books, you name it. I’ll be telling you more about this soon but let’s just say if you’re interested in a free writing class, I’m now teaching one in December.

I’d planned to record some new classes this week but it seems people have been remodeling their homes and cutting down trees in my neighborhood, and even with the windows closed, there’s been noise.

I did get a back title re-released and here’s the cover which I made myself-

Cade Big Sky County

Three more to go for this year. I’ve decided what with teaching two classes, getting the free class ready, and lots of other things on my to do list, I won’t be taking part in NaNoWriMo this year.

Speaking of which, there’s still time to sign up for Getting Ready for NaNoWriMo which starts on Monday or the Self Publishing Boot Camp.

Here’s the link to both of those-

Thanks to Nalini for this week’s guest post.

Next week I’ll be telling you more about the free class, what I see as good prospects for writers these days, coupon codes for a subscription to a great writing magazine, and yes, even a coupon code for a new grocery delivery service I’ve been using. Perfect to use during NaNoWriMo.

Have a good week and happy writing to all.
