Happy Friday everyone.
I’ll start this Ramblings with some good news. This week I got an e-mail from Skillshare telling me I’ve been named a teacher to watch. It’s a platform I love offering my classes on so it meant a lot to me. And thank you to the students who have taken my classeses because I know you helped make this award possible for me.
Speaking of Skillshare, I’ll be adding a new class next week all about finding side hustle gigs to earn some extra income (yes, writers can always do with some of that especially when you’re launching your career).
I got another old title revamped and uploaded to all the platforms. (Lots of changes taking place in the self pubbing world…more about that in the coming weeks).
This book (Getting Lucky), has always been one of my favorites because both characters have had a run of bad luck and are sort of broken by what’s happened to them. I know not everyone in real life has a happy ending but it was great granting that to these two characters who I grew to love while I was writing their story.
Here’s a look at the cover-
I’m still working on my two new non-fiction books. They’re taking me longer than I thought because I’ve been sidetracked with other projects.
Next week on This Writer’s Life I’ll have an interview with a publisher/editor of a publishing company who will share some insights on what they’re currently looking for…stay turned because you might be working on something that’s a perfect match.
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
