Okay, I’ve not gone crazy. I know it’s Thursday and not Friday but tomorrow This Writer’s Life is a book tour stop for an author and the whole day has to be devoted to them. Be sure to stop by because there’s a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
And speaking of sites to buy books, I began to put together my list of books I want to read this summer. There’s a mix of fiction and non-fiction and I even threw in a few classics I thought I’d like to revisit. I’ve done that once before and even was brave enough to re-read books that were assigned in my English lit class at school. It’s amazing how you look at a book differently at various stages in your life and see things you never saw before.
I was hoping to have my book cover for next week’s release Tell Me No Lies to share with you but it’s not ready yet. It will be released on Friday June 14th and is a romantic suspense set in Montana and begins with a skeleton being found. It features yet again another sexy sheriff/cowboy and he’s reunited with the one that got away and together they work on solving the mystery of who killed her mother. It was fun to write and if you read it I hope it’s fun to read too.
I got a contract for my fifth Perfect Pairing book (Seeing Forever) and it should be released in August. My goal is to write three a year so one more to go this year and I’m planning on making it a holiday themed story.
My current projects are a new shorter romance about two people who haven’t seen one another since high school and also Trouble Likes Me. And of course lots of other ideas are floating around in my head.
I’m also putting together the lessons for next months Getting Your 15 Minutes, a workshop about PR for writers.
Have a good weekend and happy writing.
