Another month, and another rambling. The days are getting longer and I’m tempted move my writing spot from indoors to out.
I saw this new resource today called Book Life from Publisher’s Weekly and if like me you self publish books this might come in handy-

Another workshop started this week and for June the numbers are pretty good. Sometimes it’s tough to get people to think about workshops and classes once school’s out or the warmer weather rolls in.
Today I spent most of my time planning out my work schedule for the rest of the month, July and August. As I’m retiring three of my writing workshops later this year I thought I might as well take my notes and turn them into an e-book. I’m not sure if I’ll be publishing them before the fall or not.
I’m also about a quarter way through revamping one of my older stories. I’ve changed it from third to first person and decided to make it part of a new series I’ll be self publishing.
My WIP is coming along nicely and I’m about 11,000 words into it. One thing I love about having multi projects all happening at the same time (and it’s something I encourage everyone to do), is if you get stuck on one story or not quite sure about a scene or chapter, you can switch to another one and come back to the first one. I often find it’s just what I need to get the muse stirred up again.
Have a good week and happy writing.
