June is drawing to a close. I can tell that July is just around the corner because it’s hot and humid today. Up till now it’s been perfect sit outside and read weather. So much so, I’m well over half way through my summer reading list.
June’s class is also history so it’s time for me to shamelessly promote what’s coming up in July and August. It’s all about short stories and novellas. If you’ve ever thought about writing one, tried to write one and failed, or maybe know someone who has, then pass this along to them.
In July, beginning on the 8th, it’s Crafting a Short Story and Novella regular class. In August, it’s the same class but boot camp style…first time ever. More one on one instruction and the new workbook to accompany the class. This would be perfect if you take the July class and then want to actually work on a short story or novella in August.
Here’s the link if you want to sign up for either or both classes.

I have a week’s break from teaching beginning on Monday…there’s also a holiday on Thursday so no guest blogger spot next week. And thank you Nina, for this week’s great guest post.
I’ll be adding another sign up form sometime next month if you missed out the last time around.
Looks like it’s going to be a hot and sticky weekend…guess pulling all those weeds will have to wait until cooler temps set in.
Indoor summer reading ahead…
Have a fun week, safe Fourth of July, and happy writing to all.
