Friday Ramblings From An Author-Ideas

The last Ramblings of the month.

How are your writing goals working out so far this year?

It’s a great time to look back at the first three months of the year and see if you’ve done all you set out to, or promised yourself, you’d do.

I got more books translated this week. If you’re interested in reading my non-fiction books in languages such as Spanish check out places like Amazon and Kobo because they’ll slowly being added to those platforms.

Anyone interested in learning how to get your books translated and what platform I use?

I also added another product to my store over at my site www.susanpalmquist.com. It’s my Complete Manuscript Checklist and goes through all the fiction writing elements, such as plotting, characters, dialogue and asks you a set of questions so you can gauge if you need to make final adjustments before you send out your work…even helps before you start working on a story too. I like to think of it as having a writing mentor sitting with you as you check your story to see its strengths and weaknesses. So if that’s something of interest, be sure to check that out.

Many of my ideas for books and stories are gathered while I’m doing some of my hobbies. Many of you know, gardening is one and while I haven’t been planting things outside yet, I did get my vegetable and herb seeds started last weekend. I got the idea to add a gardening book to my Fabulously series. Just a short one about ways to be a better gardener in just 30 days. It’s on my to do list for next week.

Have a fun weekend and happy writing to all.
