The first snow of the season fell and I’m happy to say it melted as quickly as it arrived.
Thank you to this week’s guest bloggers, Dora and Mageela. Next week I’ll be posting the sign up for guest bloggers for the rest of the year. Seems strange writing that but yes, the year is gradually coming to a close. Have you met all your writing goals this year?
One thing I like to do is try something different each year. Step outside my comfort zone so to speak. This week someone approached me about a ghostwriting gig that would start next year. It sounded interesting because it’s not something I’ve ever done before. I told them I’d think about it. Anyone done any ghostwriting? If so, did you like it? Stay tuned for what I decide…
I’m realized the other day I’m teaching three classes next month. One is for the Maryland Romance Writers about common writing bloopers and how to fix them. Two are for Outreach International, one is on self publishing and the other my two week bootcamp about writing a synopsis. More details are on the workshop schedule page of the site but I’ll include links in next week’s Ramblings if anyone’s interested.
I got another Skillshare class uploaded and here’s the link for that…this one is about research for fiction writers

The cold snap had me searching for books for my winter reading list. I’m hoping to find some great mysteries, and for some reason, I’m reading more true crime books now. I’m currently reading one called The Dark Heart by Joakim Palmkvist. It’s translated from Swedish and about a man who disappeared and was later found murdered. I’m about half way through it and so far it’s a riveting read.
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
