Friday Ramblings From An Author-NaNoWriMo Day 11

Another week’s gone by and here we are at Day 11 of NaNoWriMo. My tip of the day is don’t worry too much if you don’t get to the 50,000 word mark. Having at least something to show is an achievement in itself. You’d be surprised at how many people never get around to writing the first sentence.

I’m actually working on two stories right now. My next book in my Forbidden Shifter series, and my NaNoWriMo project which is a cozy mystery. I’ve never written a cozy before and for those of you who know what type of books I love to write, you won’t be surprised to hear that I’ve added a paranormal twist to it. I’m not sure how it’s going to work out but I’m having lots of fun which is the main thing.

I released another revamped story yesterday and here’s the cover-

I also uploaded another class to SkillShare. If you’re not familiar with that platform, classes are either free or premium. Premium membership is $96 per year but once you’ve signed up you can take as many classes as you want. Most of them are under 30 minutes so you can take a couple each day if you want. They also have a trial membership which is 99 cents for 3 months.

I’ll give you the links to both my classes just incase you give the trial membership a test drive. One is for the how to write a novel in 30 days and the other one is my new synopsis writing class.

I’ll be adding more classes shortly but I have a question for you. What sort of writing class would you like to see? Ideas are greatly appreciated so leave a comment.

This weekend is going to be focused on giving the garden one last clean for the year and putting away patio furniture…yes winter’s on its way.

Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
