Today I was honored to chat with Sally Bridgewater who will be attempting to not only write 50,000 words during NaNoWriMo but she’ll be doing it all in one day. Yes, you read that correctly all in one day. Sally asked me if I’d like to be interviewed and offer her some tips for her upcoming challenge and she’ll be posting it as podcast. As soon as she sends me the link I’ll share it with you. She’ll be writing all day November 7th and will lead up to the big day by blogging on her site. Sally is also doing this to raise money for charity so I hope all the followers of This Writer’s Life can offer her some support and leave words of encouragement. http://sallybridgewater.com/about/
This week seems like it’s been more writing focused than ever. The mini romance workshop is in full swing. The short story workshop has been pushed back, and fingers crossed, we can get more people signed up. Short story writing is a great way to get in shape for next month’s challenge.
Last week I forgot to share with you the cover of my second book in the Writing Made Simple series so here it is-
Next up is reworking three of my older books and self publishing them. I’ve also been working on the next book in my Big Sky County series which is set in the Seventies. This is the first time that I’m working backwards with a storyline. I’ve introduced three characters in my upcoming Christmas story in the series and this current work takes a step back to when they were in their twenties. It’s almost like reading the last page of a book first and does seem strange.
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
