It certainly feels like October today. It’s the first cold snap in what seems like forever and has me not looking forward to the winter ahead.
And speaking of weather, I hope if any of you are in the path of the hurricane on the East Coast, please stay safe and my thoughts are with you.
I got lots done this week. A new workshop began on Monday. I got the edits completed for my new cowboy story. Today, the producer of my audio book sent me the finished product and now it’s being checked ready for release. I’ll tell you more about it when it’s up on the site.
And today, I achieved a first. I published my first class on Skillshare. In fact, I was supposed to be teaching a workshop on getting ready for NaNoWriMo but we didn’t have enough participants so it got canceled. I decided to put together a class for Skillshare on the topic and it’s How to Write a Novel in 30 Days AKA Winning the NaNoWriMo Challenge. So if anyone’s a member at Skillshare I’d love for you to check it out. I’ll be publishing more on the site in the coming months (and other teaching platforms too).
This weekend is probably going to be devoted to cleaning up the flower beds and raking leaves and then I might catch up on some Amazon and Netflix shows…yes, Longmire is back! I’m also looking forward to the new season of The Walking Dead and if you watch it too you know it finished last season with one of the best cliffhangers in TV history. Yes, we authors should take note of that one.
Have a good week, stay warm, stay safe, and happy writing to all.
