Friday Ramblings From An Author-The Last One of Summer

I intended to post the next book on my summer reading list but thought I’d wait for the weekly rambling. I’m ashamed to say next week it’s fall and I only got to book 7. I’m about sixty pages into this one which is Confessions of a Courtesan by Elizabeth Charles. So far I’m really enjoying it…I love a good historical tale and this one is based upon a true rags to riches tale.

So I now have lots of books which will become my fall reading list.

It’s been a busy week. I released my self-published book, loaded a few more non-fiction titles to sites like B and N and Kobo. I was also busy with my tutoring and getting ready for the two workshops next month. One is a two week mini course for those writers thinking about writing a romance novel. A brand new one so if you know of anyone thinking of writing something in that genre, the details are on the teaching schedule section.

I also got the first draft of my second Christmas story finished. This one’s for my Big Sky County series. While I’ve been writing it three new story ideas jumped into my head.

Sometimes when one idea pops into your head so does another one and I also have a new shifter series in the works. At least when it’s snowing and cold outside I’ll have plenty of things to keep me occupied indoors this winter.

Have a good week and happy writing.
