Friday Ramblings From An Author-Wasted Morning

Welcome to March and 60 degree weather is on the horizon. I’m sure there are some of you who live in warm climates, thinking, geez, that’s cold, but believe me, here in the frozen tundra (as I call it), that’s a heatwave especially for early March.

Have you ever had a wasted morning? Not wasted on you simply doing nothing but trying to do something and getting nowhere? That’s how this morning started for me trying to get a better price on my domain renewals, thinking I’d achieved just that and finding out the deal was even worse than the original price. The added downside was it took close to an hour and half to get to the point and I watched my morning fading away.

At least I got caught up with my to do list this afternoon and actually got a book loaded onto Amazon…looks like it’s already on the site so here it is.

This time I decided to write a short book based on the lessons I put together for a book marketing class I once taught. For those of you who don’t know, before I switched to freelance writing I worked in public relations. Anyway, this book isn’t just for authors but just about anyone who’s looking for a tips on how to ‘get noticed’.

Yes, I finally finished the first draft of my new fiction WIP. As soon as I finish writing this post, I’m going to start on draft two. I’m running way behind with my fiction but hopefully one of these days I’ll catch up.

Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
