Happy Friday to you and welcome to the last month of 2017. I’m now workshop free. It’s the first year I’ve taught every month and last month rounded things off with three workshops. I’ll let you into a secret, no matter how much I love teaching, I’m glad for a rest.
Rest did I say?
My December to do list includes, republishing a back title, working on getting my web site overhauled, working on my upcoming Skillshare classes, and brainstorming about an online writing event I’ll be hosting in (probably) May. I do plan to take a break Dec 21st through Jan 2nd to recharge ready for the New Year but I’ll still be posting some Ramblings during that time.
This week I republished one of my older Christmas titles, here’s the cover, and yes, made this one myself.
Besides that it’s been finishing up with the workshops and working on the new classes so I haven’t done much fiction writing and probably won’t until 2018 when I have a ton of ideas to refine.
And how did NaNoWriMo go for you this year? Did you reach 50,000 words? My tip is to let whatever you wrote sit for awhile before you tackle the second draft.
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
