I’ll start with my tip of the day for this the 27th day of NaNoWriMo. As you head into the last three days, keep with your usual routine and take regular breaks. Don’t try and do marathon writing. Feeling tired or hungry isn’t going to help you sprint to the end.
Today was Black Friday and did anyone buy anything writing related? I splurged on a new office chair. My rationale is if I’m comfortable then I’ll be more motivated to sit and work. I also signed up for an e-mail marketing course which I hope to put to good use next year when I start offering my own writing courses and coaching.
My next release is Dec 17th and another story in my Kalispell Shifter series. I had a nice surprise this week as I found out I’m nominated in three categories for Evernight’s Reader’s Choice Awards. Last year I won in the holiday category. This year my nominations include my book Ryan in the rubenesque category, Cash in the western category, and in the paranormal category, it’s Protected by the Bear.
And I uploaded the rest of my books to Smashwords and got them into the premium catalog. After a steep learning curve, (and some swearing), I finally figured out the formatting for that platform.
Have a good week and happy writing to all.
