Fall is almost upon us. The leaves are turning and even falling. Where has 2020 gone?
Looking back over summer, I didn’t get as much reading done as I have in previous years. The books I did read were entertaining and I found some new to me authors which is always exciting.
I’m still on track with my own WIP. I actually finished the first draft and now going back and adding scenes and a sub plot of sorts which I’ve never really done in my Kalispell Shifters series. I always tell my students it’s perfectly okay to do that. Don’t ever abandon something because you feel stuck or things aren’t going in the right direction. Just get it written and then go back to the beginning. By writing the ending of my story, I was able to figure out more plot twists and add more depth for my characters.
I’m taking part in a couple of sales and bundle giveaways, one of which I know you’ll be interested in so when it goes live, I’ll tell you more.
I had such a busy week that I’ve had to start writing down all the things I need to do this weekend. With fall on the horizon, and cooler weather ahead, it’s time to get outside and finish with the projects for the year. One being, the final round of weeding…well, I hope it’s the final one.
That’s it for the week. Enjoy the final weekend of summer (or winter for some of you).
Thank you to Gayle for being this week’s guest blogger and to all of you who followed TWL.
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
