Friday Ramblings From An Author-Balmy Weather

It’s almost balmy weather where I live and I’ve been tempted to go outside but amazingly haven’t strayed from my laptop.

The two workshops I’m teaching this month are now half way over. I think they are actually my two favorite topics to teach and now I’m thinking about writing a short e-book about both of them too.

Speaking of e-books I’ve been working on finishing my writing sins book while taking a class on self-publishing on Kindle. I’m going to go the KDP route this time around which allows you 5 days to offer your book for free. I’ve been told it’s the best way to build readership, get some reviews, and best of all, create more sales.
I’ll let you know how it goes and when the book will be free.

I’m 5,000 words into my WIP. It’s another historical set in the Old West so I’m doing research. I love reading about history and only wish I had more time to sit down and enjoy this topic more.

My first sci fi story went on pre-release this week so I’ll see how sales go. Next release for me will either be this sci fi story or book seven in my Kalispell Shifter series called Reforming the Bear.

First day of spring coming up next week and also St. Patrick’s Day, if like me you have some Irish heritage, hope you have a good one.

Happy writing and have a good week.
