Friday Ramblings From An Author-Oh, The Frustration

It’s March…the sun is shining and it’s going to be 60 degrees over the weekend. I’m going to sit outside, read and relax. I feel like I deserve it.

Classes kicked off, private students were set their tasks and goals for the month and I realized how lucky I am to have such wonderful students. I’m not just saying this, but I think they’re the best.

I tried to release a back title and let’s put the emphasis on the word tried. So far, the only site where it’s up for sale is on Barnes and Noble…thank you B and N! Amazon shows it’s still publishing…not sure if there’s a problem or if they’re having an especially busy week. Smashwords…well you know if you’ve taken my self publishing class, that I’ve always said it’s the most difficult platform. I use a template that I made and since then, I only get problems once in a blue moon. This week, each time I’ve uploaded it, I get an e-mail telling me it needs modification. An hour ago, I re-loaded it for the fourth time. Not sure what’s happening or even if there’s a new format I’m not aware of. Third time wasn’t lucky but hopefully fourth time will be.

Best thing about struggles like this, you get out of your comfort zone, learn new things and yes, I learn something I can pass along to my students.

Next week, the content creator business pack I made is going to be included in a content bundle sale. First time, I’ve taken part and I’m excited. The release date is March 12th so I’ll give you all the details next Ramblings with the link in case you’d like to buy the bundle which I believe is going to include 40 products.

Thank you to Ashley for being this week’s guest blogger.

If you’re in the US, remember to move your clocks forward one hour this weekend.

That’s it for the week.

Hope your upcoming one is great and spring like. Happy writing and live your dream.
