Friday Ramblings From An Author-The NaWriNoMo Finish Line

I’m heading into the final week of the NaWriNoMo challenge and so far I’ve only fallen behind on my word count on a few days. I’ve finished one project completely and as the home stretch approaches I’ll be switching between two projects to get to the 50,000 word mark.

How is everyone else doing this year?

Where I live, It’s been very cold along with a few snowy days. My least favorite sort of weather but I have to admit I have done more writing this last week.

I finally finished the cookbook and it’s now being formatted. I also got the cover designed and I’ll share that with you next week in a separate post about that self-publishing venture.

Today I finished edits on my fifth book in my Kalispell Shifter series and got a Dec 12th release date for it. Copper, my new historical story is now on pre-order and my next release is book four, Healing The Bear that’s on Thursday (27th) and here’s a look at the cover-

I read this interesting article on why scripts get rejected and thought there were lots of good points raised and all applicable to short stories and novels too so thought I’d share the link with you.

For those in the US, Thursday is Thanksgiving so hope you have a fun one.

Happy writing and have a good week.
