In The Hot Seat with Sue Moorcroft

We kick off a new week with Sue Moorcroft in the Hot Seat…

Currently Reading….

Unstoppable by Suzanne Brockmann. This is one of her early books but, owing to the power of Kindle, it’s now easy to get in the UK.

Currently Watching….
Um, I don’t watch much TV, to be honest. What I do watch whenever it’s on the the Formula 1 racing! And I have a column at http://www.girlracer.co.uk/motorsport/sue-moorcroft.html
Guilty Pleasure…
Chocolate. (Sorry to be boring!) I adore chocolate but it gives me headaches and migraines. I persevere as much as possible, though.

Best Advice You Ever Got…

‘Don’t make enemies.’ The conversation was about my writing career, and I’ve made use of it ever since, but it’s not a bad rule to follow for all aspects of life. (Unless somebody steals my chocolate, obviously.)

A Country or Town You’d Like to Visit…

Australia. I’ve always wanted to go there and I intend to, one day. I’d really like to dive on the Great Barrier Reef but suspect you need to go on a boat to do it. I’m rubbish on boats.

Highly Recommend You Read This Title…

Wow, so many to choose from! OK, Highland Storms by Christina Courtenay. She’s my friend and a fellow Choc Lit writer so maybe I shouldn’t choose her, but it just came right into my head, even though I read it months ago.

I’m Shamelessly Self Promoting…
My last book, Love & Freedom, won the Best Romantic Read Award 2011 at the Festival of Romance, a moment that will live long in my memory. It’s about Honor, who comes to Brighton on the south coast of England looking for her mother (or is she?) and mysterious Martyn Mayfair, who’s the brother of Honor’s landlady (except she’s really his mother). Honor goes to work for Martyn’s stalker, Robina. And that’s awkward. www.suemoorcroft.com
