I know it’s been a long time since I posted on This Writer’s Life. I’ve been busy with projects and revamping some of my other sites, one being my Budget Smart Girl…www.budgetsmartgirl.com if you want to check it out.
I’ve been slowly working on a new book…number 14 in my Kalispell Shifters and slowly is the key word. I’d hoped to get it published in late fall but know it looks like it’s going to be spring.
Many of you know I took some time off from teaching classes, but next year I’m back teaching at Outreach International Romance Writers. Seven new classes, and I’ll be giving you all the details very soon and I hope you’ll think about signing up. The first one will be in February and it’s called The Fearless Freelancer. If you’ve ever thought about being a freelance writer, you’re going to love it.
I’m also brainstorming a new how to writing book. I know there are so many but like I always tell my students, think about a unique angle and I think I’ve got one.
And, an idea I’ve been toying with is to start a This Writer’s Life Podcast. What do you think about that? Interviews with authors, editors, agents talking about techniques, markets, submission and of course, the writing life. Many people have told me they don’t have time or don’t want to read blog posts any more but love listening to podcasts.
Something that definitely is happening is next week I’m taking part in a bundle sale Writer’s Craft 4.0. I know you’ll love it and it’s full of products that can get your writing off to a great start in 2023. Yes, one of my products is included in it. So, stay tuned.
I’m currently booking coaching for next year, slots of filling up so if you’re interested head over to www.susanpalmquist.com for all the details.
In the meantime, if you have any feedback about a potential podcast, or anything else you’d like to see in 2023, reach out to me at writerslifeblog@gmail.com.
All the best to you and Happy Writing to all.
