Here’s a new feature I thought I’d try for this blog. Actually a few of my students gave me the idea when they asked if I’d set them a challenge for their assignments.
You know how sometimes you sit down to write and can’t think of anything but then you pick up a magazine or watch a TV show and something you see or read sparks the muse?
This is what the Monday Writing Prompts will be, something that will hopefully get you writing. You can use it in an essay, a non-fiction article, a short story, or even in a novel.
Some weeks it will be a photo, others a line or just a word.
For this first writing prompt here’s what I came up with-
Use this line somewhere in your story-
Steve was right, you can’t ever go home again.
