I’m currently taking a break from today’s writing sprint which is also my tip of the day. Some people don’t like to quit writing until they’re done with their word count but I like to stop every fifteen minutes or so and take a break and stretch my legs or even grab of cup of tea.

Friday Ramblings From An Author-Goodbye September
Another month draws to a close and days are getting shorter which means it will soon be time for NaNoWriMo. Who’s taking part in this year’s challenge? I’m teaching a class on the topic (which begins on Monday). I’ve also decided I’m going to tackle it. I know I’ll be working on other stories so I’ll…

I’m heading into the final week of the NaWriNoMo challenge and so far I’ve only fallen behind on my word count on a few days. I’ve finished one project completely and as the home stretch approaches I’ll be switching between two projects to get to the 50,000 word mark. How is everyone else doing this…

Where I live we had the first snow of the season and first taste of a cold blast. I don’t mind snow it’s just I hate it hanging around for so long. Looking on the positive side at least it keeps me indoors and writing. Speaking of which, it’s the halfway point of this year’s…
