I almost forgot that’s it’s Friday. Summer’s going way too fast for my liking. I’m hoping that fall will be near perfect so I can squeeze in more outdoor reading and writing time before the first snowflake falls.
Thank you to Madeline for her guest blog this week. It reminded me that I need to get my rest of the year goal list ready to put into action.
One of the things on that list, is to reach it to 1,000 followers by the time January 1st rolls around. We’re now at 769 so it’s very doable. Help spread the word, and if you read the posts here every week but haven’t yet followered, hit that follow button.
I just finished the first round of reformatting my next back title. It’s the last one in my Perfect Pairings series.
I’ve also been thinking about classes I want to teach on platforms like Skillshare. Lots of people told me they struggle with goal setting…and keeping, and staying motivated enough to finish books or even get started. I’m now leaning toward focusing more on that aspect of writing and not necessarily how to write.
What do you think? Do you struggle with lack of motivation or focus?
I’m almost done with my summer reading list…first time in forever that I’ve actually finished ten books. Time to start thinking about the fall list, and then winter…
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
