I thought I’d combine this week’s ramblings with my NaNoWriMo tip of the day. Don’t worry if you don’t write every day, sometimes you need a break. However, don’t give up completely just tell yourself you can make up for lost time another day…sort of a writer’s pep talk!
As you already know, it’s been a busy week. I got two older books revamped and loaded onto some sites. Lots more older ones I want to rewrite but it’s finding the time in between all the new stuff I’m working on.
It’s hard to believe we’re almost half way through November. I just know that in a blink of an eye it’s going to be Christmas and then the New Year. Almost every site I’ve been on today is reminding me it’s just 2 weeks until Black Friday. I like to think of that day as a way we authors can buy ourselves something to aid our writing. One thing I’m eyeing this year is a new office chair. I’ve seen one I like but I’m holding off making my purchase until the sales kick in.
My next release is also two weeks away and I can’t wait to see the cover which I’ll share with you as soon as I get it. I’m also planning a 12 Days of Christmas giveaway this year and I’ll be telling you more about that soon.
This is the perfect time of the year to start doing some clearing out and organizing of your old files. I’m always amazed at how many half finished stories or articles I stumble upon. Some of them have even turned into published works.
Have a good week and happy writing to all.
