June 1st, half the year is almost done. What have you done to achieve your goals? Are you one step closer to realizing your dream?
It’s one of the reasons I’ve decided on the summer writing retreat or should I say challenge? Three months to get a book started or finally finished. I’ll be telling you all about my own project next week and then every week I’ll be offering tips. During Friday Ramblings I’ll be updating you on how I’m doing.
Before I forget, thank you to this week’s guest blogger. And here’s a message for someone who signed up the other day and left me a note…Bob from Brussels. I hope you’re reading this because I’ve sent you a couple of responses and I keep getting a message saying my e-mail can’t be delivered to you. If you could contact me again we’ll figure out what’s happening.
Today the June workshop kicked off, Writing an Erotic Romance. Yes, there’s still time to sign up if you’re interested. Check my workshop schedule page for more details.
Can you believe I’ve been working on next year’s classes? I’ve decided to teach exclusively for just one chapter of the RWA. I’ve never one that before but this is a chapter I love working with and we should have the schedule ready by mid-July.
I decided to add writing exercises to my novel blueprint book and hopefully it will be ready to publish by the end of the month. At least that’s my goal. I’m also thinking about a writing journal to accompany it. What do you think? Anyone find journals useful or motivating while you’re writing? I’ve never created one before and the idea is very tempting.
One thing you can’t forget about summer is sitting around on lazy days and reading. If you’re not thinking about writing this summer, what are you going to read? Anyone have a great book to recommend?
Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
Great post 🙂
