Friday Ramblings From An Author-Ideal Reading a Good Book Weather

alphabets-2518268_640

I should add writing or maybe even watching a movie to the title of this Ramblings. It’s cold, it’s windy, snow is forecast, and I’m not a happy camper. Anyone else notice the older you get, the less you tolerant change in temperature? Especially temps on the cold side. Oftentimes, I’ve thought about teaching writing seminars to fellow writers someplace that’s warm. For now, I’m writing this with the fire ablaze and a mug of tea.

You’ve heard of beer and wine flights but I’m trying out a tea flight with an assortment of flavored tea mixes. Current one is chocolate raspberry bon-bon.

Classes kicked off Monday, and in the NaWriMo one we’ve been focusing on writing distractions. It got me thinking that maybe I need to write a post about the topic. That’s what’s coming up on Tuesday.

This week I’ve been working on the outline for the free December class…hope you’ll going to sign up! I thought as it’s going to be holiday time that I’ll put together a gift for everyone.

I’m on book three on my fall reading list. Lots of people have asked if I’d start posting reviews of the books I read and I’m seriously considering it.

Another thing lots of you have e-mailed me about is the motivational posts. You all seem to love them and tell me you struggle with getting and staying motivated so I’m putting together a class on that topic. I’ll let you know when it’s ready. I’ll also be posting more on the topic here at TWL.

That’s it for this first full week of October.

Have a fun week and happy writing to all.
