Friday Ramblings From An Author-Is it June Already?

I find it hard to believe that in a few weeks summer will arrive. I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend, (if it was in fact a holiday where you’re at). I sat down and put my summer reading list together and as always, today I saw a few more books I’d like to add to it. I’ll be sharing the list with you sometime next week.

I released my new shifter book yesterday and trying hard to keep on my goal of a new or revamped release every Thursday in June. I thought of ideas for a couple more story ideas. I keep telling myself I shouldn’t even think about new stuff until I’ve worked my way through my current to do list, but that’s what being a writer’s all about. One tip I always give is to carry a notebook with you and jot down ideas whenever they spring into your head. I have some notes that are more than a decade old and I keep telling myself one of these days I’ll use them.

The My Story’s Been Rejected, Now What? Boot Camp began on Wednesday and The Plotting Your Novel Boot Camp begins on Monday, as does the Writing the Erotic Romance. The Plotting your Novel one is full but there are still a few places left in the erotic romance class that’s offered through the Colorado Romance Writers. If you know anyone who might be interested be sure to let them know. I’m looking forward to seeing what stories everyone’s working on in the plotting boot camp.

I’m now ready to put on my editor’s hat for an hour or so and then I’ll be working on book two in my new shifter story.

Have a good week and happy writing to all.
