Friday Ramblings From An Author-Last One of The Month

Just one more day and NaNoWriMo begins…are you taking part this year? I’m going to do my best to post a tip on this site each day. As always, I’m making my goal 50,000 words by the end of the month but not all for one book. I’m hoping to get work done on two new stories in both my Big Sky County and Kalispell Shifter series.

I just finished the first draft of my latest Big Sky County book and thought I’d write this ramble while I let the story sit a few hours before I tackle the second draft.

It’s Halloween tomorrow and before you know it, it will be 2016. I’m working on my goals for the new year, both for my writing and teaching. I think I’ve found the perfect venue to offer writing classes and I’ll tell you more about it once I get everything set up. One of my goals…yes, I carry it over from year to year, is to tackle some scriptwriting. I might have to sign up for a class so I actually get something done. Next year I’m also hoping to get two new series started.

Remember if you’re in the US to set your clocks back one hour tomorrow night…yes, you get an extra hour to begin NaNoWriMo.

Happy writing and have a fun and safe Halloween.
