Authorship, Publishing, Books and More

Friday Ramblings From An Author-Sliding Toward May

It feels like April’s gone by in the wink of an eye.  Before we know we’ll be half way into the year. Anyone set writing goals for the year? And if so, how are they going? I’m lagging behind on one of my mine and that’s starting a screenplay. I never seem to find enough time for it.

I got my ninth book in the Kalispell Shifter series finished and to my publisher. Now I’ll start working on book seven in the Big Sky County series. My next release is book five in that series and is called Connor and will be released on May 4th. I hope to have its cover to share with you during next week’s Ramblings.

I also got more work done on book three in my Writing Genre Fiction. My goal is to have the first draft completed by May 1st for a mid-May release. After that it will be books four and five to write and publish. During the summer I’ll be writing but won’t release any new books until fall because I’m told summer is a bad time for it.

I’ll also be putting together my own writing workshops and working on updating my Web sites to reflect that as of fall I’ll be offering one on one writing coaching/mentoring and manuscript critiques. I’ve been thinking about it for about a year or more and decided to finally put it into action. I have to say I’m looking forward to expanding into that arena and hopefully helping aspiring writers reach their goals and get published.

Have a good week and happy writing.
