Authorship, Publishing, Books and More

Monday Motivation-The Why of Writing

Anyone have a resolution to write a book in 2018?

Some resolutions stick while many fall by the wayside.

The word why plays a huge role in why some people start and finish writing a book…even get published while others don’t.

Ask yourself why you want to write a book. Has it been a childhood dream? Was someone you looked up to and admired an author? Did one of your parents or even a friend die without living their dream of writing a book?

We each have our own motives for writing and this week I want you to focus on yours.

Once you know the why then each time you think I’m too tired to write, this plot stinks, I’ll never be a writer, think about your why.

It’s that why that separates the wannbe writer and the published one.
