Summer 2016 Reading List

rome-686305_640

One thing I love about summer is going outside to read a good book. Last year I put 20 books on my reading list but this year I’ve been more realistic. Ten books have made it to my 2016 summer reading list. A few of them were actually on last year’s list so hopefully I’ll get to them this summer.

The amazing thing is I’ll be reading them all as e-books. I never thought I’d give up holding a physical book in my hand (which I haven’t), but these ten are already on my tablet waiting to be enjoyed.

Here’s the list-

The Night Before-Luanne Rice.

Take Me With You-Catherine Ryan Hyde.

My Sister’s Grave-Robert Dugoni.

Silent Scream-Angela Marson.

A Cat Called Alfie-Rachel Wells.

The Magpies-Mark Edwards.

Never Smile at Strangers-Jennifer Jaynes.

When I’m Gone-Emily Bleeker.

Animal Wise-Virginia Morell.

All That Ails You-Mark J Asher.

As you can see, this time I’ve picked eight fiction novels, the majority of them are mysteries, and two non-fiction titles just to mix things up a little.

I’m currently reading another one of Mark Edwards’ books called Follow You Home and someone recommend Emily Bleeker’s novel. Anyone read any of these books on my list? Anyone want to share their summer reading list. Any recommendations? I’d be happy to post them here so others can find the perfect book for summer reading.
