The Getting Ready for NaNoWriMo is over and now heading to the retirement home (my writing school over at Zenler), for old workshops. However, today is Day 1 for all those taking part. If you need some tips, I have some classes on the topic over at Skillshare…in fact, I’ve had the most students this month over on that platform than ever before. Not sure if that means more people are taking the challenge this year.
As well as classes being done for October, so is leaf raking. It looked like snow so I headed out there this morning to get the last of them picked up. I say what a relief to have all the outdoor chores done, but by January, I’m going to be missing being outside (and probably doing some whining too).
At least I can catch up with my reading list…still only on book four.
Although I’m not taking part in NaNoWriMo, I’ve set a goal to get all my writing workbooks completed by the end of the month. Depending on how things go, I might even write and publish a short guide on plotting.
One boot camp (writing a synopsis) and one class (writing erotic romances) begin on Monday. I was about to write, last ones of the year, but there’s the free mini-retreat in December. I’m done working on the lessons and just have a few more things to add to the gift everyone’s going to receive.
Another work week comes to an end…they seem to go faster as the year progresses, don’t they?
Thank you to Susan for being this week’s guest blogger.
Have a good week and happy writing to all.
