Today, the short story boot camp came to an end and I have a week off from teaching before the final leg of the year kicks off.
Here’s the link to the two classes I’m teaching next month just in case anyone’s interested. One is a plotting your novel boot camp, and the other one, writing a series and trilogy.
Scroll down until you reach September and you should see how to enroll.
You don’t need to be a member of OIRWA to take the class. Plus, although they’re taught through a chapter of the Romance Writer’s of America, they’re not just for romance authors. The instruction you’ll get is suitable for just about any genre.

So, what did I do during the last week of the month… did some planning ahead.
I got the cover for my next back title completed. Made a list, along with notes, of the classes I want to create and record before 2019 comes to an end. I also decided that I want to focus on some promotion workbooks for self publishers…I’ll be teaching a boot camp on that topic next year too.
It’s a holiday weekend here in the US and I’ll be enjoying some outdoor time…might even go for a hike, catching up with some movies I want to watch, and making my list of books to read this fall. I’m also taking a mini break from TWL next week so all I’ll post next week is my Friday Ramblings. The following week, things will be back on schedule.
Thank you to V. S. for sharing details of the scholarship for mystery writings…hope everyone checked that out!
Until then, have an enjoyable holiday weekend, a fun week, and happy writing to all.
