It’s the first rambling of the month and I have lots of news.
My Western romantic suspense is nominated for Book of the Month over at Long and Short Reviews. Previous books have been nominated too but I’ve yet to win so if anyone would like to send a vote my way that would be appreciated, here’s the link which goes live at Midnight Eastern
Other piece of news, my second story in the Love Cowboy Style called Breakfast With A Cowboy was released today and here’s the cover which I love-
The next and last of the trilogy called Christmas With A Cowboy will be released on December 5th.
Today is the first day of Write a Novel Month and as soon as I finish writing this post I’m getting ready to write. I did begin a story (a new trilogy) and already 10,000 words into it so if I reach the goal before the end of the month I’ll start on the next book in the series.
I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted all three books connected in some way but after working on the first story I’ve decided yes, I think it makes sense to do that.
The last of this year’s workshops finished on Tuesday so I’m all done teaching until January 6th when I’ll launch a new workshop called Are We There Yet? It focuses on two things, how do we know when a book’s ready to be submitted, and what do we do to get it in tip-top shape? Each lesson will tackle a different aspect of editing your work before you send it out.
That’s it for today, I’ll post a few times next week to let you know how I’m doing with the challenge.
Have a good weekend and happy writing.
