We’re at the mid-point of summer. Did you set any goals? If so, how are you doing?
I’ve found putting everything in a month by month to do list folder on my laptop is a big help. Anyone else tried that and liked it?
A new class…boot camp begins on Monday. It’s all about writing a short story or novella?
This is a more one on one instruction type of class. We still have some spaces open so here’s the link and feel free to pass it along to anyone you think might like to sign up-

I made a new sign up for Thursday guest bloggers and haven’t shared this with any writing groups yet because I want to give you the opportunity at first pick of the dates. They go from September through mid-December
Here’s the link if you want to guest blog and the only rule is it has to be something writing related-

And before I forget, thank you to Joan for being this week’s guest blogger.
And also before I forget…it’s not often that a publisher who only accepts agented submissions opens its door to those writers who haven’t yet found an agent or who don’t want to find one, but Avon Books is doing just that and it’s looking for romance stories.
Here’s the link so you can see what they require and the deadline. Romance writers don’t miss out on this one!

I’ve been enjoying three days off between teaching and taking the opportunity to catch up on working on my long term goal list…I’ll tell you about that next week. I always take advantage of the free book you can borrow each month with your Amazon Prime membership and for August, my book of choice is one about writing a TV pilot…more about why I picked it, later.
In fact, I’m now ready to head outside before it gets too humid for comfort and continue reading it.
Have a good week and happy writing to all.
