May is flying by….
Thank you to this week’s guest blogger. Next week I have two interviews lined up that I’m excited about. First one is with the author who (she never knew it), inspired me to write (at least try) a book a month. When you learn how many words she writes per day, you’ll be inspired too!
The second interview is with the author of three books that I think should be on every writer’s shelf. If you’re thinking of maybe doing something different as a writer you’re going to love my interview with him.
This week I prepared another class for Skillshare, worked on some future projects for this site, and made progress on the non-fiction projects. I’m also slowly reviving my money saving blog. It fell by the wayside a few years ago and I’ve missed writing about money related topics and I felt it was time to get back on track.
This weekend I’m going to do some gardening (always a great way to get inspired to write), and I might watch some of the royal wedding if it’s not already over by the time I get up. Don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before but my late father and grandfather were both Coldstream Guards…yes, the men in the red tunics and bearskin hats. Ever since my dad died I get a bit teary eyed when I see them marching because I think of him and all his wonderful and sometimes funny tales he used to share with me. I think he was the first storyteller in the family not me.
Have a wonderful week and happy writing to all.
