I always say if something you do isn’t fun or isn’t fun any more, it’s time to call it a day.
This quote reminds me that sometimes writing is a struggle but if it’s something you love to do, that struggle eventually fades into nothingness.
It’s that X factor that eventually separates the published writer from the person who never sees their name in print.
Well said. I’m a newbie at this writing thing, but I’m loving every minute of it . . . even the frustrating parts. I figure that there’s something to learn at every stage of the writing journey. And when you do what you love, you can’t help but love what you do. Few words but you said volumes.
Totally agree with you, there’s always something new to learn about writing…I think that’s part of its appeal.
