NaNoWriMo-Day 19

writing-933262_640

Today’s tip is something I switched to doing when I found my writing coming to a grinding halt. My fingers would be flying across the keys and I’d bring in a secondary character or mention that the character traveled someplace and didn’t have a name for said character or town etc. I use to stop to figure out what I could use which caused the great rhythm I had going to vanish. Now if that happens I put NEED A NAME in capitals and bold font so when I go back to do edits I can easily find it. As always with your first draft, just keep writing.
