Here are the twelve books I’ve picked for my summer reading 2018. A full disclosure here… I recently signed up to be an Amazon Associate so I’ve included links to each book and should you buy one I’ll get an affiliate fee.
To The Bridge by Nancy Rommelmann
This year I’ve decided to read two true crime books and this is the first of them-
The Magpies by Mark Edwards
I’ve read Follow You Home by this author and enjoyed it so I thought I’d give this one a try-
When I’m Gone by Emily Bleeker
This one came from a recommendation-
The Things We Wish Were True by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen
I love a story with secrets so I’m looking forward to reading this one-
Allie ad Bea by Catherine Ryan Hyde
The first of two books by this author who has fast become one of my favorites-
Take Me With You by Catherine Ryan Hyde
I actually just finished this one and loved it.
Mad City by Michael Arntfield
This is the second true crime book I’ll be reading-
X by Sue Grafton
Need I say more, the wonderful, late Sue Grafton and the author who inspired me to write my own mystery about a female PI…so looking forward to this one-
It Ends With Her by Brianna Labuskes
This one looked like a fun cat and mouse mystery-
Crimes Against a Book Club by Kathy Cooperman
This one sounds lighthearted and you need one of those types of stories now and then-
Only The Rain by Randall Silvis
This sounded like an interesting premise-
Silent Victim by Caroline Mitchell
Another mystery with a hidden secret-
If you’re like me and an avid reader, one way I’ve found to lower the cost of buying so many books is to be an Amazon Prime member. You get your pick of a free book of the month, another free book to borrow each month, and more books you can borrow (magazines too), in the Prime Reading category. About 25% of books I’ll be reading this summer I acquired via that route so if you want to give Prime membership a free trial, here’s a link.

Great list! To the Bridge was a great read.
