Friday Ramblings From An Author-What A Difference A Week Makes

blog-3428667_640

I have a confession to make. I’ve had to drag myself inside to write this Ramblings. Last week at this time, it was snowing and cold. Today, sunny, warm, and a chair on the deck was calling my name. I thought I’d continue reading the mystery I’m half way through but the sun was too bright to read anything on the Kindle.  Then I thought about getting out my sketch pad and working on some art but decided to do absolutely nothing. It’s not too often I do that and it was pure bliss with the sun shining down. Oh, warm weather how I’ve missed you.

It’s been a full week of work so I think I deserved a few hours off. I got a new novella released. Put together four journals and no, they are not all writing ones. I’m having fun creating them. The graphic part is a challenge but I always think you should go outside your comfort zone every now and then.

How about you, what do you do to challenge yourself?

Thank you to Kimberly for her great guest post this week. I’ll be posting a new link for guest bloggers for the summer so I’ll let you know when I have that posted. Or you’re welcome to e-mail me directly.

I hate to cut this post really short but you can guess where I’m heading. I think I’ll finish off the week outside working on the outline for a new story.

Hope the weather is as good wherever you are and that you have a fun week. Happy writing to all.
